I am keeping all of my children's lesson plan's in a three ring binder this year. I am keeping it in order of grade level from youngest to oldest. Today, I am sharing some of my second graders lesson plans.
These are my new monthly printout sheets, I have each month listed with the dates going straight down, all in one column. This one is September through January.
Sheet #2 is February through June.
I like to print out a picture of the book to keep with the plans just as a visual.
I also like to print out the table of contents because this is what I use to help me break down the book for the school year.
Our continent study is broken down into one continent per month. We will add library books and other hands on activities as we go: maps, videos, recipes, etc.
Writing is very important to me as a home school teacher and a mom, last year my older children focused on paragraph writing and various writer's notebook entries. I thought this book would be a great way for my second grader to begin a young writer's journal.
The table of contents is already broken up by months so all I had to do was copy it into my planning sheets.
This workbook will give her the main spine for my daughter's language arts program. we will add other activities and games as well.
This is a good start to our 2nd grade yearly plan. I will be working on her other subjects until September when we will begin our new year.
So nicely organized. You're making me miss homeschooling y youngest. Great job.
