All of the business and running around have finally ceased. I feel like Christmas is truely beginning today. The calmness, the restfullness, the enjoyment of the gifts has just started to settle in. I am so thankful that the business is over with and because of our Catholic faith their are still 12 more days of Christmas. I would be tempted to miss the whole point of Christmas if it ended as soon as it began.
I can't help but wonder if that is how Mary and Joseph felt with traveling to Bethlehem and the business of the many people who came for the cencus. I am sure their was a peace when Jesus was finally born, a calmness and restfullness for all to enjoy.I hope you all cherish this time of Peace. May you be blessed by the Birth of Our Lord Jesus.
